The Alex Fraser Group is engaged in construction materials recycling and asphalt production and paving. We operate five facilities in Melbourne, two in Brisbane and employ around 260 people. The role is based at Laverton in Melbourne.

About the Opportunity
This is a rare opportunity to join a growing independent asphalt company known for a positive customer-focused culture and contracting excellence. Your earning potential is high, with lots of overtime and regular Saturdays days expected.
This is a multi-skilled team environment so you will also learn profiler and skid steer operation. Regular weekend and night shift work is required, so flexibility, a commitment to punctuality and a strong team work ethic are essential. Training will be provided.
In return you will receive an hourly rate of $25.03 (for a trainee) or $28.40 (for an experienced operator), as well as a Daily Allowance of $23.50 and a monthly RDO.
Ideally you will have experience in profiling as a level hand/operator.
Preferably you will also have one or more of the following:
- Heavy Rigid truck license
- Skid Steer loader ticket
- Red & White card
- Spotter/Traffic Control ticket
